CALL FOR ENTRIES 2012 :: Celebrating 10 years!
Swell Sculpture Festival, Queensland’s premier outdoor sculpture exhibition, invites entries from artists to exhibit in the 2012 exhibition.
The 10th annual free outdoor sculpture exhibition will be held along Currumbin Beach from the 14th – 23rd September 2012. Swell Sculpture Festival provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit in a highly regarded exhibition set within a visually stimulating, expansive coastal landscape.
Artists will vie for Gold Coast City Council Acquisition of up to $20,000 for permanent installation in Division 14. Other awards include the highly popular People’s and Kids’ Choice Awards, Emerging Artist Award, Media Award and Artist Peer Award. Exhibiting 55 sculptures, Swell Sculpture Festival supports full freedom of expression for all forms of sculpture and encourage submissions.

1. ONLINE SUBMISSION
By submitting the online form you agree to the terms and conditions > enter online! This is an online form that requires you to complete fields and upload documents - doc, pdf and jpg files are accepted. TIP! Read the form first and have all your content prepared before starting - the submission must be done in one sitting and cannot be saved. Images and files must be under 1MB to upload successfully.
The online submission will generate an account with a username and password that will be issued via email. Note: you are able to update and amend your entry after completing the online submission process by logging into MY ACCOUNT using your username & password however, this feature will be locked after the close date.

This map is indicative of the site - Currumbin Beach ocean walkway between the Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club and the Currumbin Alley is approximately 1000 metres and is located along Pacific Parade Currumbin Beach, Queensland, Australia. Sculptures will be featured along the grassed area and selected beach sites. An opportunity may exist for artwork to be featured on one of two large natural rock areas. The majority of the exhibition site is flat with undulating areas.
