About Monte Lupo

In 1991 Multicap established the Monte Lupo Social Enterprise to provide a career path for people with disabilities who wished to be gainfully employed in an area encouraging creativity and artistic expression. Today the Monte Lupo studio employs over 17 artists with a disability and 6 arts workers and oversee all studio production. With minimal training, our Monte Lupo artists have developed a very distinct, individual, naïve style. The artists can express themselves freely through several medium including sculpture, painting, pottery, and screen printing.

2022 SWELL ARTWORK – The Dreamer, Monte Lupo

We all need to have a dream, even if the dream is much bigger than ourselves. Once we let people know about our dreams, then they will grow and take on a life of their own.
Then we can sit back and let other people contribute to the dream in their own way and then the journey can continue on.
