An initiative by City of Gold Coast curated by SWELL Sculpture.
Site & Situation | Public Art Forums + intensive workshops
Come along to experience thought-provoking presentations by Nikos Papastergiadis, Lucy Keeler, and Jacob Nash; participate in Q & A’s; meet and mingle with fellow creatives and community members.
Each presenter will share knowledge on developing contemporary concepts, honing their practice and process of collaboration to produce public art. Arts enthusiasts are invited to participate in discussions of public art through knowledge-sharing about how the public, the site, and the ideas intersect in making and enjoying art in public spaces and places.
Event format:
Day One | Evening Public Art Forum featuring Invited National Arts Professional | 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Day Two | Intensive full-day workshop led by Invited Artist for selected participants | 10 am to 4 pm
