SITE & SITUATION

CRITICAL ENGAGEMENT IN PUBLIC ART | AN INITIATIVE OF CITY OF GOLD COAST | CURATED BY SWELL SCULPTURE.

Site and Situation is a series exploring contemporary public art in its many forms.  Experienced Public Art Professionals including Nikos Papastergiadis, Lucy Keeler, and Jacob Nash will deliver thought-provoking public talks and industry workshops exploring creative, cultural, and socio-political aspects of the past, present, and future of art in public spaces.

With guest artists sharing knowledge on developing contemporary concepts, honing their practice, and the process of collaboration to produce public art. Site and Situation will evoke thought and conversation as the public, the site and ideas, are considered,  Site and Situation will be presented across the city in various locations to invite site-specific discussions.
