EKPHRASTIC POETRY WITH SOMERSET STORYFEST
Ekphrastic Poetry performance is yet again another step in connecting the arts through the power of words and storytelling! Join us as Somerset College wordsmiths express their connection with the sculptures through poetry.
Experience a group of wordsmiths performing a vivid, dramatic and verbal (real or imagined) description of the exhibiting SWELL Smalls artworks. Wordsmiths will create, reimagine, reinterpret and blow you away with song, movement, prose, poetry and prose poetry, opening your eyes to new ways of looking at art and the world. So, join us, be reimagined and be recreated.

The Fringe Pavilion is home of the SWELL Fringe and bar, located in Wallace Nicoll Park, Currumbin Beach. The Fringe Pavilion will come alive each evening with artistic programming such as live music, performance and masterclasses, plus the bar will be open weekdays from 4pm and weekends from 12pm. Our wonderful food vendors The Spanish Catering, SeaViche & The Banger Bar will satisfy all of your cravings. Please note the Fringe Pavilion is a large tent, so if it’s chilly make sure you rug up.
