Join us at dusk for stories, art and creative conversations about living and playing in our waterways and bay and the futures we can imagine together
This one-off event starts with a short immersive walk among SWELL sculptures, we then return to the Smalls Gallery for conversations and tales with artistic, scientific and cultural storytellers, and an invitation to join in making art with oysters.
We explore everyday relationships, playing in our water city, and how oysters, people and places are fostering the courage, cooperation and creativity we need in a climate changing world.
How doΒ youΒ play in our water city?
Altered Tides: The Gold Coast Is Your OysterΒ brings together a collaborative group of marine scientists, First Nations knowledge holders, artists, architects, conservationists, and community members for conversations and stories that nurture our sense of belonging, reciprocity and stewardship.
