Badlands Vinyl Presents Quality Used Cars, Emmy Hour and Ella Fence
Tweed Heads is the place where everyday feels like a Sunday, so when Tweed’s favourite record shop steps up for a Sunday Session it’s safe to say they know what’s up. This September they are bringing you Naarm’s greatest Australian wordsmiths Quality Used Cars for a righteous afternoon of rock n roll. Frontman Frances Tait has a knack for writing engaging and hilariously relatable lyrics and stories that will move every person who dares to listen. For SWELL he is bringing his band and a ton of songs and stories that will entertain you and enlighten. From the true history of Tullamarine (not what you thought it was) or just a tale about meeting a mate at the pub for a quiet drink, nobody can make you sing along to everyday stuff quite like Quality Used Cars.
Joining the bill will be Brisbane’s folk punk powerhouse Emmy Hour, fresh off the release of her EP Numero Uno, Emmy brings a catalogue of Honest personal anthems that bring tears to the eye and chills to the spine, and she does it with nothing more than six strings and her voice.
Rounding out the line-up is one of the Gold Coast’s best voices, Ella Fence. Ella is an award-winning artist known for her genre-defying approach to bold alternative pop/rock music, defined by cinematic intensity. She will be joined by her band as she bangs out a bunch of her best songs.
