Anna Bonshek’s multimedia installations play with the sense of the non-material transforming and inhabiting space. A Gold Coast artist who has worked in the UK and USA, Anna enjoys the poetry and mystery of art-making. Manu P. Sobti, urban interlocutor of the Global South, describes her “prolific production as remarkable” observing, “Anna is fond of incorporating rhythms and cycles in her work, the rhythm of nature, the rhythm of human beings”, where time is important, “not only in terms of the measurable but also as its seeming immeasurables.” Connections between inner and outer worlds are key to her art.
