David O’Brien

David is a graduate of the ANU Canberra School of Art (2002). He worked briefly in exhibition preparation before completing teaching qualifications and has spent the past 21 years as a dedicated educator in Art and Design across secondary and tertiary levels. Alongside teaching, David has maintained an active studio practice through select commissions, including the WitnessTree Project. Recognised for craftsmanship and conceptual depth, he was selected for the 2016 Workshopped Industry Exhibition.
