Giuseppe Filardo | I SEA A REAL COMEDY

$100.00

I’m associated with wearing different kinds and colours of glasses on a daily basis. Here, referencing ‘Comedian’ artwork by artist Cattelan depicting a banana taped to a wall. Replicating my bright yellow glasses by wanting to tape these to a surface by juxtaposing these onto a white wall. My title I SEA A SMALL COMEDY not only references my past sculpture ‘I SEA’ and the work by Cattelan but also is commenting on the fickle artworld that can be absurd and serious at the same time.
