Join the artists of the Mint Art House community for an intimate and insightful panel discussion exploring the creative processes, personal milestones, and evolving practices that shape their work. Mint Art House invites audiences behind the scenes of contemporary art-making—from early inspirations and identity-driven concepts to discussion of evolving technologies in this new world. In this panel session, artists will share candid reflections on their journeys, offer practical advice to emerging creatives, and respond to rapid-fire questions that reveal the quirky rhythms and tools behind their studio lives.
Whether you’re an art lover, aspiring artist, or curious festival goer, this conversation offers a fresh perspective on the role of creativity in today’s cultural landscape.

Mint has been operating as a gallery and studio space since 2019. In that time they have moved a couple of times, hosted over 30 exhibition events, as well as being commissioned as a collective to create public artworks for Bleach Festival*, Stockland and This is Art.
Their resident artists have won and been finalists in national awards, including SWELL Sculpture Festival, the National Emerging Art Prize, Marymount Art Prize, National Emerging Artist Prize, Border Art Prize, Darcy Doyle Art Award and the Gold Coast Art Award. Individually and collectively, they have been commissioned to create artworks by Bleach* Festival, Placemakers*, City of Gold Coast, HOTA Home of the Arts, Artlovers Australia, and have had artwork acquired by the likes of Baz Lurhmann and Channel 9’s The Block.

More about the Fringe Pavilion at Wallace Nicoll Park
The Fringe Pavilion is home of the SWELL Fringe and bar, located in Wallace Nicoll Park, Currumbin Beach. The Fringe Pavilion will come alive each evening with artistic programming such as live music, performance and masterclasses, plus the bar will be open daily from 12pm. Our wonderful food trucks will satisfy all of your cravings. Please note the Fringe Pavilion is a large tent, so if it’s chilly make sure you rug up.
