Steven John Sullivan

Steven, born in rural Cullburra was profoundly shaped by an encounter with Jackson Pollock’s oeuvre during a school excursion. He attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts @ Griffith University, emphasising painting and time-based media, augmented by Degres in Film Production, Screen and Media, and Graphic Design.His practice spans multifaceted roles in film and the arts, prosthetics, art direction, and as Director, Writer, Producer, and D.O.P. Include Best D.O.P award at Kenneth Branagh’s Short Film festival works in IMA projection programme. Amalgamating methodologies/interrogating materiality/objecthood, and the convergence of culture/
identity. Recent solo show at QCA Southbank consolidated a unified artistic paradigm.
