Colin Dray
Colin became fascinated with Blacksmithing and Metal Design in the early 1990’s and joined the Artist Blacksmiths Association of NSW. An active member of the group, he has promoted the growth of modern blacksmithing in Australia and attended several international Conferences and Festivals.
He gained trade qualifications in Metals and Engineering (Industrial Blacksmithing) putting these skills to use in Artistic Blacksmithing. Colin has maintained his passion for Blacksmithing and continues to forge sculptural ironwork.
He regularly exhibits forged sculptures in local and regional art galleries, including The Glasshouse in Port Macquarie and the Inaugural SWELL Small Sculpture prize in 2024.
