Dave Hickson

Dave Hickson is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice navigates the playful and sometimes challenging intersections of sculpture, drawing, and digital media. Based in The Northern Rivers, NSW, his work draws inspiration from the local environment, often transforming recycled materials into whimsical or thought-provoking forms. Dave has exhibited at the Swell Sculpture Festival, Byron Writers Festival Sculpture, Salon Des-Refuses, JADA drawing prize, Tom Bass Sculpture Prize and Olive Cotton Portrait prize. He has had solo shows at Regional and Commercial Galleries. His work is held in collections at Bundanon, Sydney University, Shoalhaven Regional. Dave also lectures in art at TAFE.
