Devorah Ungerleider

Devorah Ungerleider is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores abstraction, material, and gesture as tools for connection, curiosity, and collective well-being. With a background in fine art and visual communication, her practice extends beyond the gallery into public space, creating participatory works that invite reflection and shared experience. A pivotal shift in her work followed a prolonged recovery from Lyme disease, during which abstraction became a means of creating through intuition rather than control. In public art, Ungerleider views sculpture as both symbol and gathering point—visual conversations that foster belonging. Her work prioritizes openness, resilience, and human connection.
