Fleur Brett
Fleur is a Melbourne based artist whose practice incorporates textiles, sculptural installation and assemblage. Her work stems from an interest in landscape and a mapping of place through the process of weaving or layering of imagery. Her work has been exhibited widely around Australia including in the Sculpture by the Sea (Bondi), Wangaratta Contemporary Textile Award, Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize, Fishers Ghost Art Prize, Deakin Small Sculpture Prize, Wollongong Sculpture in the Gardens, Sculpture at Scenic World and the Lorne Sculpture Biennale. Fleur holds a BFA Hon (Sculpture) from RMIT University and a Masters from Griffith University.
