2020 SWELL ARTWORK – Can you hear its tender frame, screaming from beneath the waves?, Stephen Newton
Set out to resemble the wreck of a ship, this site-inspired work invites the viewer to consider real and symbolic journeys of the self and of others. This vessel has been affected by fire, an agent of transformation signifying a future never reached or a past never escaped.
Come and see for yourself at SWELL Sculpture Festival, Pacific Parade, Currumbin 11-20 September.
