2021 SWELL ARTWORK – Meaningless but lit af, Daniel Clemmett
Put your helmets on the future is coming
Get off the main roads
Ditch your social media
It’s no time to be rich and famous
Fill your tanks
Cash in your equity
Previous inhabitants have been extirpated
It’s maritime denial or bust
Nobody’s got a redekker plan
It’s no longer philosophy
Get good seats
Repression invokes fear and retreat
Controlled by fear
Divided and conquered
Religious atheism cults ideologically driven by the singularity
The God of Google
Hijacked by surveillance capitalism
Keeping slaves slaves
Consenting to torture
At what point does wilful ignorance become complicity.
SWELL Kids Artist Statement – Meaningless but lit af, Daniel Clemmett
Put your helmets on
The future is coming.
Hold on tight.
It could get bumpy,
rough or even dangerous
It will definitely be an interesting ride.
