2022 SWELL ARTWORK – Addiction, André Braun
Influenced by his architectural and photographic skills, this artwork by André Braun explores our obsession with touchscreen devices and our growing addiction to taking pictures using handheld devices.
Represented as a series of large smartphone silhouettes facing the ocean and using hands as a supportive element, this concept is a reflection of our obsession with memories digitally recorded, allowing the visitors to ironically take pictures using their own smart devices in front of those enlarged “smartphone silhouettes”.
