About E. Farrell Huntley
E Farrell Huntley is an interdisciplinary, process based artist. She begins her work in response to something she has seen or felt in our natural world. At the core, her work is a record keeping of movement, death, transmutation and transformation.
2023 SWELL ARTWORK – Forget Me Not Eternal
Forget Me Not is about the passage of time and our changing lives and landscapes. The flowers represent resilience and the ability to adapt regardless of circumstance. The work is titled Forget Me Not Eternal, because each stage of the flower is as important as the bloom. At times of decay and dormancy, we can forget that we have bloomed, and that we will bloom again. Nature’s cycles can be intense and in our current time they have become extreme, setbacks seem larger yet we still bloom. Remembering how is key.
