Fallen Fungi / Fairy Furniture / Toadstool Throne/ Fairy Furniture
‘Fallen Fungi’ explores the harmonious complexities and wonders of the biosphere by magnifying organic forms through the creation of larger-than-life sculptural adaptations of natural phenomena. This sculpture invites the imagination to a realm of fairies, envisioning what common seating might be within their mushroom kingdoms. By allowing people to sit on this interactive life-size sculpture, the piece enables viewers to imagine the furniture and lifestyle of these mythical beings.
