Chloe Rowland
Chloe Rowland has spent her working life within the art world as a prop and puppet maker, working at Sydney Opera House and The Lion King among many other exciting theatre based projects. After moving to Bangalow in northern NSW and raising 3 boys she is now stepping away from the theatre to create her own works and to establish herself as an independent artist.
Chloe has always had a love of nature and the treasures to be found within it. Her work focuses on embracing the use of nature to capture form, detail and simplicity with a sense of earthy beauty.
Sea Husk
This piece looks at how nature mirrors itself on land and on sea. The versatility of a palm husk captures the hollow and intricate detail of a shell, bringing the two elements together.
A shell is a husk, this husk is now a shell.
