Claudia Hickel

Claudia is a German artist who graduated from the esteemed Munich Holzbildhauerschule, an art school specializing in wood and stone carving. She nurtures her self-expression through a diverse range of mediums including paintings, drawings, ceramics and wood sculpting. Claudia has participated and sold her artwork within Australia including the Buderim Sculpture Garden since 2019 and at Sculpture on the Edge since 2021. In her secluded home studio, nestled amidst a wilderness garden, she draws inspiration from nature for her creations. Her work often reflects the stories etched in human faces and the profound connections we have with nature.
Her relaxed posture and gentle smile reflect a sense of tranquillity, symbolising how nature has the power to restore us and offer moments of serenity and happiness. Rejuvenation can be found in natures embrace.
