JEREMY SHEEHAN

Working across art, design and education, collaboration with a diverse mix of people is a key driving force for Jeremy’s art work. This often includes artists and creators spanning different countries and disciplines. His practice has become increasingly focused on site-specific works created with a mix of natural and artificial materials. Sheehan holds a BFA and a Masters in Cross Disciplinary Art & Design. His work has won awards including the Sydney Water Award for Environmental Sculpture and has been shown in solo and group exhibitions including Sculpture by the Sea three times, Vivid Sydney, SWELL Sculpture Festival three times, and Ocean Sentinels at The National Maritime Museum.
As we look toward the stars while making our planet less habitable and our society less hospitable, questions arise around our place in a galactic ecosystem.
