Joanne Adler

Joanne is a local artist with a background in painting, drawing, and ceramics, who later pursued a career in education. Her work is inspired by the natural world, with a particular focus on the sweeping curves of the human form, coastlines, petals, leaves, and the intricate movements of pollinators like bees. Through careful observation, she celebrates the beauty and vitality of nature’s smallest creatures.
Joanne’s artistic practice is deeply influenced by her studies of contemporary fresco painting in Florence, Italy. She enjoys working with natural pigments and textured finishes, creating pieces that evoke both visual depth and tactile richness. Her work invites viewers to appreciate the often overlooked details of nature, fostering a deeper connection to the environment and its many wonders.
