ABOUT

John’s interest in visual arts was sparked during his childhood, when he would often spend time in the backrooms of commercial galleries where his parents worked as conservators. He later trained as a pattern-maker and industrial designer across various industries, gaining a comprehensive understanding of different materials, albeit with limited creative freedom.
Since relocating to the Mid North Coast in 1989, John has dedicated himself to being a full-time sculptor. His work is now part of both private and public collections, nationally and internationally.

Cocoon
The Cocoon is in a state of suspension, delicately balanced between what is and what will be. It whispers of hidden changes and the promise of the emergence of something new.
