Amy THAI

Amy Thai (b.1992) is a sculptor working with stone, glass, porcelain, botanicals and bronze. Rooted in her Vietnamese-Australian heritage and shaped by an international practice across Australia, Europe, and China, she pursues mastery within historic craft traditions. She trained in botanical art in Paris, hand-carves Carrara marble, collaborates with master glassblowers at Galleria Barovier&Toso in Murano, and has explored bronze casting and porcelain in China. Throughout her exploration of these materials, Thai draws consistent inspiration from botanical forms, exploring ephemeral and permanent aspects of the natural world.
