ABOUT

Living in the Central Victorian town of Mandurang, surrounded by Box-ironbark forest, Andre creates sculptural works using steel, copper, brass, stainless steel, and local hardwoods. His innate creativity and curiosity drive an ongoing exploration of techniques for joining and manipulating metal and timber, resulting in whimsical, finely crafted sculptures that invite curiosity and imagination. Andre has held numerous successful solo exhibitions and was awarded the Victoria Sculpture Prize in 2021. His work is held in many private collections.
