Anthea Amore

Anthea’s ceramic work is an exploration of nature’s beauty and the impact humanity has on our oceans. Her work is inspired by forms and textures found in the marine environment. Her qualifications include a Diploma of Ceramics and an Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts. She has exhibited in numerous group shows, including Brunswick Street Gallery (Melb), RED Gallery (Melb), Saint Cloche Gallery (Syd), SWELL Sculpture Festival (Gold Coast), Northern River Community Gallery (Ballina), Cornerstore Gallery (Orange), Lismore Regional Gallery, and Aspire Gallery (Brisbane). Her work is hand-built and slip-cast, and employs diverse firing techniques, layered glaze surfaces, oxides and underglazes.
