Brent Grainger and Jai Mccartney

Brent Grainger and Jai McCartney are designers who met while studying architecture, where a shared interest in how people experience space led to an ongoing collaboration. Their collaboration is informed by architectural ideas of form, material, and light, with a focus on creating works that invite movement, exploration, and interaction. They are interested in installations that people can enter, touch, and inhabit, encouraging direct and intuitive engagement. Drawing on their architectural training, they aim to create accessible works that connect with a broad public audience. Littoral Lantern marks their first public art installation and reflects their interest in spatial design.
Come and see for yourself at SWELL Sculpture Festival, Pacific Parade, Currumbin 11th – 20 September.
