Jennifer Rowe

Jenn Rowe’s art practice explores environmental and socio-political issues through reimagining materials. Reflecting on the nature of contemporary reality and the social structures that shape the world, her carbon-neutral sculptural works serve as models of ethical making and as prompts for reflection and action. Drawing on her Trawlwoolway heritage, Jenn explores the complex relationships between people, the natural environment, and one another. Her work reveals and celebrates the beauty of the natural world while confronting how ways of living shape, and often threaten, the future.
