Jo Norton

Jo Norton is an artist based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, working on Bundjalung Country. Her practice spans small porcelain vessels, stoneware forms, and site-specific installations. Norton introduces subtly contemporary shapes into her work, using restrained lines that allow material, surface, and process to lead. Her work embraces cyclical processes, and repetition , creating pieces that respond to environment, light, and time.
