Kyle Slabb
Kyle is Goodjinburra man, an artist and cultural leader of the Tweed Bundjalung people, the original custodians of the northern coastal regions of New South Wales. Working across painting, music, and installation, Slabb shares lived experiences and cultural knowledge from his community. An advocate for Indigenous knowledge systems and their relevance within broader society, he explores how these ways of knowing can be respectfully shared, activated, and sustained. Slabb’s relationship to place is grounded in cultural knowledge passed down through Elders in his community, shaping an awareness of Country not only as land, but as a lived state of being.
