ABOUT

Born in Melbourne in 1959, migrating north soon after finishing a trade as a boilermaker, Peter now lives on his farm in the Byron hinterland near the village of Federal.
He is inspired by natures way of forming things, the patterns and shapes of rocks, the patina of weathered metal or the shape of a birds wing on flight.
Exhibiting locally his sculptures have won a number of awards and have wide appeal.
His latest competition piece “The Biggest Little Bunyip” won both first prize, peoples choice and in 2024 was installed on Mullumbimby’s riverside sculpture walk.
