Emily Hastie

QLD

Emily Rose Hastie is a multidisciplinary Australian artist working primarily with pyrography and wood from her studio at Mint Art House on Kombumerri Country in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. Her practice explores connection, identity, and place through a deep reverence for the natural world. Using timber as an active collaborator in the storytelling, and meditative mark-making and fire as a creative tool, Emily’s work aims to invite thoughtful reflection on our relationship with the Earth.

Come and see for yourself at SWELL Sculpture Festival, Pacific Parade, Currumbin 11th – 20 September.
