Nasrin Vaziri and Sara Nejad

QLD

Working across painting, pyrography, installation, video, and sculptural forms, our practice explores themes of transition, memory, and belonging. We draw on fragments of material, image, and cultural reference to construct layered, immersive works that reflect the fluidity of identity and lived experience. Our approach combines a deep engagement with diverse craft and fine art materials with ideas rooted in cultural heritage. Each element is carefully selected and shaped through a process that is both intuitive and structured, balancing precision with expressive spontaneity. Through this methodology, we create works that invite reflection on emotional landscapes, transformation, and connection to place.

Come and see for yourself at SWELL Sculpture Festival, Pacific Parade, Currumbin 11th – 20 September.
