Description
“Immortal” is inspired by the recent discovery that certain sea urchins can live up to 200 years. The sculpture continues my exploration of nature, highlighting the fragility and value of our world through overlooked objects like sea urchins. I intentionally gave this sculpture a handmade, non-industrial feel to replicate the tactile quality of a lantern-shaped shell.
