Description
Each year, an estimated 10 million native Australian animals are killed on our roads—an ongoing tragedy that often passes unnoticed. Drivers move on without a second thought, while lives—unique, sentient, and integral to our ecosystem—are lost beneath our wheels.
This work invites viewers to invert the perspective. What if we handed the keys to wildlife, and it was a human mother and her child struck down instead? By unsettling this hierarchy, the piece challenges the deep-rooted disparity in how we value human versus non-human life.
