Big – The Journey. A hand cut tree stump, the basis upon which images and axe are displayed telling the story of how the giant knitting needles came to be. Tracing the creative development of the sculpture simply titled BIG.
First settler history planted the seed of creativity of a story that had to be told. Hundreds of man hours are captured in pictorial snapshots and tell the story of the Tilney family and its instrumental involvement in establishing the first Country Women’s Association in Queensland.
