This series extends my modern marquetry practice into three-dimensional sculptural form. Inspired by mid-century modern design, geometric compositions flow across wall-mounted cubes of varying scale, blurring the boundaries between wall work, object, and sculpture. While my previous practice has predominantly centred on fabricated metal, these works represent an exploration of timber as a sculptural material. Through the use of geometric abstraction and carefully selected veneers, the series investigates form, rhythm, and spatial relationships, expanding marquetry beyond the traditional picture plane.
