Occupying the unstable interval between commodity, sculpture, and sign, consumer materials are reconstituted as an assemblage where meaning remains perpetually deferred. The work interrogates how institutional value emerges through repetition, recognition, and display while exposing critique’s recursive capture within the economies it seeks to unsettle. Pink operates as semiotic surplus, exceeding compositional order and destabilising the logics of containment. Here, ‘intermundia” names a threshold where matter, value, and signification remain suspended between incompatible regimes of legibility, resisting fixed interpretation and institutional closure.
