The Southport School - Quade Elu, Fynn Holtsbaum, Tommy McDonald, Cooper Ryan, & Rynell Sebasio | The Seaway
Our found-object artwork explores the relationship between nature, community, and change at The Seaway, highlighting the delicate balance between human activity and the coastal environment. Inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Bull’s Head, we transformed discarded materials into a meaningful artwork that tells a new story. Our excursion to The Spit informed the design through its contrasts between natural and built elements. As a collaborative work, it reflects the tension between development and conservation, encouraging viewers to consider their role in protecting coastal environments and promoting environmental stewardship for future generations.
