The Sea Eagle and Wedgetail Eagle often symbolize freedom for us. They seem so confident high in the trees, or soaring on currents of air, they embody freedom and strength. As so many have suffered following the flooding of 2022, the mental health impacts in our region have been huge. Many people are still displaced and in temporary accommodation or in cars. The trauma is great and long lasting. The eagle is a wish for our community to soar and be strong, and to be willing to reach out.
