Circular Weaving with Melissa Spratt

Make a circular weaving with yarn (25cm diameter). This workshop is for beginners and crafters alike and will allow you to have a try at circular weaving. Take home a finished piece, which can be hung on the wall, used as a mug rest or trinket dish. This workshop is for all ages (8yrs +) and runs for 2hrs.

Melissa Spratt is a textile artist who lives and works on the Gold Coast. Spratt has worked with various mediums; painting, photography, drawing and printmaking, but has found most enjoyment in sculpture and installation. Exploring textile and surface design elements, she works closely with yarn making techniques, where she is most known for her finger-knitted artworks.
