2020 SWELL AMBASSADOR – LUTHER CORA
SWELL is extremely proud to have Luther as our 2020 ambassador, he is a huge supporter of the arts on the Gold Coast. Luther Cora is an inspiring advocate for Indigenous Culture, his Totem is the Black Cockatoo. A proud member of the Cora and Trare Families which come from the Bungaree Family, who are traditional people from Gold Coast area, also known as the Yugambeh Language group which is made up of several tribes, clans and family groups. Luther is a contemporary aboriginal dancer, artist, photographer, storyteller and ambassador for his people. His family are proud of their strong connection to this country and their Culture.
In 2020, Luther is exhibiting his work, Mullet Season, in Northerly SWELL.
