THE NUTS & BOLTS OF BEES - WORKSHOP BY FINN COSSAR
In this workshop the kids will get an intro to the importance and mechanics of bees, and a correlation to the way humans make things work, mechanically. The workshop will aim to get kids creatively thinking about bees, whilst making something to take home. Using bolts and screws kids will create their own little bees.

More about SWELL Artist Finn Cossar
Finn Cossar is an artist living and working in the Sunshine Coast region of South East Queensland. Finn recently had the opportunity to collaborate with artist Miles Allen, in producing a permanent street sculpture in Nambour. Finn has a profound love for nature established from growing up outdoors at the beach and in semi-rural environments; this translates in his sculptural work that features found objects from nature such as stone, rusted steel, and forms of old machinery. He enjoys combining these elements using industrial techniques such as welding and forging.
