Weaving Together is a collective group of Australian First Nations Gold Coast weavers that celebrate the beauty and creativity of fibre art. The group first worked together to create Sky Weave – a woven skyscape suspended from the treetops in Burleigh Heads as part of the 2020 Bleach Festival. The weavers draw their inspiration from country, culture, identity and ultimately healing of mind, body & spirit. Weaving is about sharing – with the aim to bring people together to create, grow and learn from one another.
