More about TANISHA
Drawing from all corners of relationships, emerging Gold Coast Artist TANISHA writes with incredible honesty, emotion and highlights all the depths of love and heartbreak.  Her fans and listeners are drawn to her ever-lasting, open invitation to connect and inspires them to show vulnerability in strength. She is incredible at articulating pain in a not so melancholy way. When you listen you are taken to a moment in time, a memory, a feeling, a person. Repeated hits like Never Follow Through, Craving and Two Sides have already made waves across Australian radio with multiple records making it onto Triple J, iHeart and Fbi radio. TANISHA inspires to create her own blended genre within an ever-changing and constantly evolving nature of RnB. A love for contemporary UK RnB, neo-soul, soul-electronica and everything in-between meets her efforts to explore the world of alternative music in the realms of production, songwriting and visual design.

More about LYRIC
Lyric is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter and producer from the Gold Coast, who entrances audiences with her relatable lyricism and innovative production quality. One of her first singles, ‘remember everything’, was aired on Triple J Unearthed Radio, with Unearthed music director Dave Ruby Howe dubbing it a “classy and emotive track” that emulates “Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish”. In mid 2022, she released ‘1985’. The song reached #3 on the AMRAP Regional Radio Charts, and received airplay on stations such as Radio Adelaide, Fleurieu FM, and a radio interview on 4ZZZ.

The Gold Coast Music Prize is proudly supported by Friends of the Arts Foundation (FOTA).
