Exploring Colour and Pattern through Collage and Still Life Drawing
Join Michelle Le Plastrier for a vibrant mixed media collage workshop!
Dive into a world of colour, creativity, and abstract landscapes in this hands-on workshop where your imagination is the only limit.
Guided by northerlySWELL artist Michelle, participants will explore the use of colour and pattern, experiment with creative materials and methods, and be inspired by the feature artwork to craft your very own abstract landscape.
The dynamic ceramic installation, There’s No Place Like Home, incorporates shapes, patterns and colours reflecting the landscape of the local area, both natural and man-made. The vibrant swirls and loops echo the shapes of the towering rollercoasters through the suburbs and mirrors the natural rolling hills in the distance. The landscape reflects the waterways and thriving wetlands of the surrounding environment.
