Youth Music Venture, now in its 16th year, is the only organisation growing Gold Coast music from grassroots up – and last year took out 1st Prize representing Australia internationally. Come along and see some of their wonderful young musicians perform.

In the past 16 years, multi award-winning Youth Music Venture [GC Community Organisation of The Year; GC Youth Volunteer of The Year; QLD Volunteer of The Year 2024], has enriched the lives of 700+ 11-17 year old kids, with their amazing FREE voluntary program.
They were not only awarded 13 performances at the Commonwealth Games including the Opening Ceremony pre-show, but were also chosen to represent the Gold Coast and Australia at the 16th Annual Sister Cities International Youth Festival in Chengdu China, 2024. With 28 countries performing, they took out the equivalent of “Gold” at the “Music Olympics”!

More about the Fringe Pavilion at Wallace Nicoll Park
The Fringe Pavilion is home of the SWELL Fringe and bar, located in Wallace Nicoll Park, Currumbin Beach. The Fringe Pavilion will come alive each evening with artistic programming such as live music, performance and masterclasses, plus the bar will be open daily from 12pm. Our wonderful food trucks will satisfy all of your cravings. Please note the Fringe Pavilion is a large tent, so if it’s chilly make sure you rug up.
